For instance, teachers working teaching days in October receive their pro-rata payment on 10 November, while teachers whose classroom teaching starts in November receive their first full monthly salary on 10 December.
Starting around month 2 or 3, 3,000 THB per month is placed into an escrow completion bond, capped at 15,000 THB total. Teachers can request one month without a deduction. When you fulfill your teaching contract and complete all student grading, the full held amount is returned on your final payday alongside your last salary.
Arriving with $1,500 to $2,000 USD in clean, uncreased cash notes is a recommended safety tip, not an agency fee.
