Keep your video between 45 and 60 seconds. Follow these four timing windows to stay on point.
0 to 15 Seconds: Warm Greeting and Your Name

15 to 35 Seconds: University Degree and Country of Origin
Mention your Bachelor degree clearly. A university degree in any field is required by Thai law for paid work permits. Mentioning a TEFL certificate is optional here.
35 to 50 Seconds: How You Teach Children
Explain your teaching style in simple words. Focus on patience, encouragement, and active games that help non-native learners build confidence.
50 to 60 Seconds: Why Thailand and Polite Closing
Express genuine enthusiasm for living in Thailand and end with a respectful Thai greeting.

Professional School Attire
Wear an ironed collared shirt or a modest professional blouse with covered shoulders. Ensure your hair is neat and off your face. Avoid t-shirts, singlets, or casual beach wear.
Quiet Light and Plain Wall
Film indoors facing a window or soft indoor light. Stand or sit against a clean, neutral wall with no clutter behind you. Position your camera horizontally at eye level so your head and shoulders fill the frame.
Clear Audio, No Music
Speak slowly and articulate every word clearly. Thai school administrators are listening closely to your pacing. Record in a quiet room with no background television, street traffic, or loud background music.
Do not include sunglasses, party footage, alcohol in the background, heavy social media beauty filters, or distracting background music. Keep the recording simple, calm, and focused on you speaking directly to the viewer.
Alongside your video, send a high-resolution head and shoulders photo taken against a plain, light-colored wall. Smile naturally and wear professional collared attire. School directors attach this photo to your formal placement profile.
