Teaching in Thailand Introduction Video

Your introduction video is the first impression so make it a good one. Position yourself in a well lit area, dressed in formal or business casual. Film yourself from the waist up and make sure you’re in the middle of the frame.

Be enthusiastic and smile when you start. Tell who you are and what you have to offer. If you’re selling a product, highlight the features and benefits and why it’s worth buying. Use simple language and speak slowly so Thai teachers and administrators can understand your pronunciation.

Keep it short, 40 seconds to 1 minute. That’s it!

Here Are Some Tips When Recording Your Intro Video!

Start with a smile in a well lit space, dressed in formal or business casual. This sets a good first impression and shows you are serious about the process.

Share your education, school name, college/university and degree. If you have a high CGPA mention it. This will help the schools understand your qualifications.

If you have teaching experience, share it in the video. This will help the schools understand your teaching style and how you can contribute to their programs.

If you have volunteer experience, share it in the video. This will help the schools understand your community service and ability to work with others.

Share your love for teaching and why you want to work in Thailand. Explain how your skills and experience can benefit the schools and students in Thailand. This will help the schools understand your motivation.

Remember, first impressions count and by following all our tips you can create a good and engaging video that showcases your qualifications.

In my class you will find a happy and fun environment where everyone feels happy to learn! I believe learning English should be a fun ride and I’m here to accompany you along the way.

I love teaching all ages from 3 to 18 years old. My approach is always gentle, friendly and patient. Mistakes are part of the learning process and I encourage my students to make them. We will practice until they feel confident in all aspects of English: listening, speaking, reading and writing.

See you soon!
