What KET handles for you
Our team assists you from paperwork review through classroom onboarding. Here is what we handle directly, and what you arrange yourself:
Non-B visa sponsorship and Section 60 Digital Work Permit paperwork completed directly with our team. TCT teaching waiver processed if required by your school.
Intensive cultural workshops, classroom micro-teaching, 5G SIM card setup, medical checks, and visa photos during our orientation week.
We accompany you to inspect pre-vetted studio apartments near your school (3,000–6,000 THB/month), assist with the lease contract, and confirm landlord TM.30 filing.
You arrange and book your own international flight. We do not provide direct airport pickups. Scheduled group VIP van transfer from Mo Chit 2 terminal in Bangkok departs on Saturday morning for teachers enrolled in the orientation program.

Frequently asked questions
Do I need a Bachelor's degree to apply?
Yes. Thai labour and immigration laws strictly mandate an unlaminated Bachelor's degree certificate in any discipline to issue a Non-B teaching visa and legal Digital Work Permit. Diplomas must be physical and unlaminated so embossments and security watermarks remain inspectable.
Is a 120-hour TEFL certificate required?
Yes. Thai partner schools require an accredited 120-hour (or greater) TEFL or CELTA certificate to approve contract paperwork and submit your provisional teaching waiver to the Teachers' Council of Thailand (Kurusapa).
Can I pick which town I teach in?
Yes. When applying at /apply-now, paste the line from the card you want into Comments (for example: Current openings · Tak · Primary · November 2026). We match candidates directly to open positions at that specific partner school.
When do I need to fly to Thailand?
Teachers arrive in Bangkok on Thursday or Friday before our Saturday orientation cohort begins in Sukhothai. After contract signing, your coordinator communicates exact recommended arrival windows so you can purchase flights with confidence. See our Pre-Departure Guide for full flight prep details.
Do I pay any recruitment or placement fees to KET?
No. Kids English Thailand does not charge teachers any job matching or recruitment placement fees. Partner schools fund our staffing operations directly. Your primary startup costs are your own flight, your orientation week fee, and your initial living buffer.
