Both pathways pay the same monthly salary (30,000 to 36,000 THB net in Northern schools) and offer legal Non-B visa support. An 11-month contract runs the full academic year (May to March). A one-semester contract runs for a single 4 to 5 month term (May to September or November to March), with an option to extend.

Applicants applying for paid teaching contracts (11-month, one-semester, or substitute cover) must record a short 45 to 60 second introduction video following the guide at /intro-video, upload it as unlisted to YouTube or Google Drive, and email the link to placement@kids-english.org. Are there any agency placement fees for candidates?

No. KET charges 0 USD in recruitment or placement fees to applicants. Partner schools fund our recruitment service directly. First-time paid teachers attend a 5-night arrival orientation in Sukhothai with a 400 USD fee (settled on Sunday in cash as 13,000 THB) that covers private AC lodging, meals, SIM card, and transit escort.
