Practicum vs. Job Guarantee
Completing the practicum provides hands-on teaching hours and an official staffing reference from Matthew John. It does not automatically guarantee a paid job. Salaried teaching in Thailand legally requires an unlaminated Bachelor degree and a direct school hiring offer.
TEFL Certification Reality
A 120-hour TEFL certificate is recommended and valued by Thai school directors for practical lesson planning, but it is not a statutory Ministry of Labour requirement for every school. The legal requirement for a paid Non-B work permit is an unlaminated Bachelor degree.
Dedicated Sunday VIP Pickup
Practicum cohorts meet at Bangkok Mo Chit 2 terminal on Sunday mornings at 08:00 AM for group VIP van transit directly to Sukhothai HQ. Note: this is a dedicated Sunday practicum departure, distinct from the Saturday paid-job orientation van.
Standalone Practicum Route
