Sunday Mo Chit 2 VIP Pickup
Meet the KET team at Bangkok Mo Chit 2 terminal on Sunday morning at 08:00 AM. Travel by VIP AC van to Sukhothai, check into your room, and receive your 5G Thai SIM card. (Note: This is a dedicated Sunday practicum departure, not the Saturday paid-job orientation van).
Week 1: Classroom Induction
Engage in Active Learning workshops, Thai staffroom etiquette, lesson structuring, phonics games, and a cultural sunset tour of the UNESCO Historical Park.
Week 2: 40-Hour School Practicum
Teach real Thai students in partner schools. Lead activities, co-teach with local faculty, direct English Camp stations, and receive individual trainer feedback.
Deployment or Certification
Transition directly into your full-time paid school contract, or take your verified practicum certificate and academic reference to independent posts.

Teachers who commit to a full school year placement contract following the practicum receive a 5,000 THB reimbursement upon completion to cover digital work permit and visa extension expenses.

Are there any upfront wire transfers?
Zero. You pay your program fee on arrival in Sukhothai in local currency (Thai Baht) after meeting the team and checking into your room.
Can non-native speakers join?
Yes. Non-native English speakers holding a Bachelor's degree and C1+ proficiency (IELTS 6.5+ or TOEIC 860+) are eligible for practicum training and full placement sponsorship.
How does the 5,000 THB reimbursement work?
Upon completion of a full school year placement contract following the practicum, KET reimburses 5,000 THB to cover the cost of your digital work permit and Non-B visa extension.
Can I complete the TEFL Practicum without a school placement?
Yes. For educators who already have independent employment or only seek hands-on classroom training, KET offers standalone TEFL Practicum intakes during active school term months.
What are the pickup dates for 2026 and 2027?
TEFL Practicum pickups depart from Bangkok Mo Chit 2 on Sunday (May 10th for Term 1, and November 1st & 8th for Term 2 intakes). Standalone practicum cohorts during active school terms run with customized Sunday arrivals. Please note: This is a dedicated Sunday practicum departure, not the Saturday paid-job orientation van.
