Online theory cannot prepare you for a real Thai classroom. Our 1-week teaching induction and 1-week school practicum in Sukhothai bridge the gap between certification and paid employment. Join during semester intakes or as a standalone open-term practicum.

Sunday Mo Chit 2 VIP Pickup
Meet the KET team at Bangkok Mo Chit 2 terminal on Sunday morning at 08:00 AM. Travel by VIP AC van to Sukhothai, check into your room, and receive your 5G Thai SIM card. (Note: This is a dedicated Sunday practicum departure, not the Saturday paid-job orientation van).
Week 1: Classroom Induction
Engage in Active Learning workshops, Thai staffroom etiquette, lesson structuring, phonics games, and a cultural sunset tour of the UNESCO Historical Park.
Week 2: 40-Hour School Practicum
Teach real Thai students in partner schools. Lead activities, co-teach with local faculty, direct English Camp stations, and receive individual trainer feedback.
Certificate, advice, directory
You leave with the practicum certificate, a reference, and a directory of schools. KET does not place you from this page. Paid jobs are a separate application.

💡 Pay-on-Arrival Policy: No deposit or wire transfer required to secure your seat. Program fees are settled in cash (Thai Baht) on Sunday during orientation.
This fee does not buy a placement. October and April are closed for the practicum because those months are the paid-job orientation.

Frequently Asked Questions
Are there any upfront wire transfers?
Zero. You pay your program fee on arrival in Sukhothai in local currency (Thai Baht) after meeting the team and checking into your room.
Can non-native speakers join?
Yes. Non-native English speakers with a Bachelor's degree and C1+ English (IELTS 6.5+ or TOEIC 860+) can join the practicum. This page does not include a school placement.
Does the practicum include a school job?
No. This is the TEFL practicum only, plus job-seeker advice, guidance, and a directory of schools you can contact yourself. Paid placement is a separate track on the apply page.
Which months can I join?
Any month except October and April. Those two months are reserved for paid-job orientation. Contact KET and book the Sunday van for the month you want.
How do I book a month?
Contact KET and say which month you want. You can join any month except October and April. The practicum van leaves Mo Chit 2 on Sunday at 08:00. Saturday vans are the paid-job orientation and are on the orientation week page.
