We only collect what is strictly required to place you as an English teacher in Thailand and process your legal visa & work permit.

Personal & Contact Information

  • Full name, nationality, date of birth
  • Phone number and email address
  • Passport copy and recent photos
  • Emergency contact details

Professional & Educational Background

  • Bachelor’s degree & transcripts
  • TEFL/TESOL certificate
  • Criminal background check (required by Thai Ministry of Education)
  • CV / résumé and reference letters

Health & Supporting Documents

  • Basic medical information (for insurance & school placement)
  • Voice/video recordings (only if you participate in demo lessons)

Anonymous Website Data

  • Browser type, language, and timestamps
  • Pages visited (via anonymised Google Analytics)

2. How We Use Your Information

  • To match you with a suitable Thai school (guaranteed placement)
  • To process your Non-Immigrant B visa and work permit
  • To provide ongoing support during your teaching contract
  • To contact you about future teaching opportunities (you can opt out anytime)

3. Sharing & Disclosure

We never sell your data. We only share required documents with:

  • Your assigned Thai school
  • Thai Ministry of Education & Ministry of Labour (legal requirement)
  • Visa processing agents (1,900 THB service, 5,000 THB reimbursed to you)

4. Data Retention & Your Rights

  • We keep your data for maximum 3 years after your last placement
  • You can request access, correction, or deletion anytime via admin@kidsenglishthailand.org
  • Response guaranteed within 48 hours (PDPA & GDPR compliant)
