In the TOEIC Reading and Listening test, contenders are scored based on the number of questions they answered correctly, which is then transformed into a scaled score.
The score report shows separate scores for listening and reading and scaled scores. The complete scaled score is defined by calculating the two scaled scores together.

Check your Current Level
Many people don't know their current status, but they quickly find and download all the online materials to study. After some time, they may be demoralized and soon give up. You may not attain your goals if you do not specify your current level.
TOEIC learners must be notified of their current English proficiency level; thereby, they can create a suitable learning plan and find fitting materials.
You can assess your current level in many ways, such as taking free mock tests online. Determining your current level partly helps you acquire your target score.
Don't misinterpret goals for motives when you want to learn English. To specify your goals, you first must receive the information you need to determine why you choose to study TOEIC by responding to the questions below:
Why do you desire to achieve the Toeic certificate?
What will you do if you achieve a TOEIC score of 800 TOEIC?
The next step is to split the big goal into small and attainable goals; you can quickly draw up a suitable self-study path for yourself.
After answering these questions, you will know your significant goals and why you must spend time, grind, and money studying TOEIC.
To boost TOEIC scores, firstly, hopefuls must prepare a concrete English foundation and then practice according to the examination format. In addition, you also need to submerge yourself in an English environment.
Beware of Materials
Many people download or buy as many books as possible; however, self-studying TOIEC has many advantages, such as a vast source of materials, practical knowledge, and learning strategies conveyed by people who have taken the TOEIC exam.
Nevertheless, analyzing many materials simultaneously without a selection will be ineffective. Thus, instead of purchasing too many books, downloading too many materials, or learning according to different methods, you should select materials and techniques that are appropriate to you.
Let's look at what you earn from the materials rather than the number of materials you learn.
Have an Effective Learning Method
Many people have excellent English grammar, while their listening skills are restricted. Thus, they often only focus on improving their listening skills and disregard other areas of the TOEIC. Meanwhile, many people only focus on learning grammar instead of listening. To achieve the highest score on the Toeic exam, you must develop critical skills, including listening, reading, and grammatical and linguistic skills.
Use a Daily Journal
Increasing vocabulary is significant for any English examination, including the TOEIC test. There are different ways to improve one's linguistic level, such as studying websites or apps.
However, the most practical way is to prepare a notebook to write vocabulary. By doing so, you can remember new words for a longer time.
Sysatmize Knowledge
Several people take as many examinations as possible without organizing knowledge. This method is only appropriate for those with outstanding general English skills. They only take examinations to get familiar with the test structure and the sorts of questions.
Each part of the TOEIC examination includes specific knowledge and skills you need to learn and evolve. You not only need to do the examinations but also improve your skills.
Through the free online TOEIC mock tests, you should know what skills to expand. After each test, it's suggested that you organize knowledge such as grammar topics, vocabulary, and typical exam questions.

FAQ’s
What does TOEIC Assess?
The TOEIC Listening and Reading tests evaluate the ability to listen and read in English using written and oral comprehension. Currently, no TOEIC speaking or writing test is offered in Thailand. However, other organizations like ETS Global have a TOEIC speaking test and a TOEIC writing test. Go to etsglobal.org/pl/en to learn more and use the practice exams to help prepare for test day.
Who uses TOEIC?
Many businesses, corporations, and educational institutions worldwide use the TOEIC Listening and Reading test to assess the English-language proficiency of students and industry professionals.
Employees who use English regularly at conventions, hospitals, hotels, international meetings, restaurants, and schools.
New employees partaking in the job market
Why does TOEIC only allow the use of Penicls?
It is the criterion of the TOEIC exams, set by makers of optical scanners that read answer sheets. You are only permitted to use pencils to fill in the answer sheet. This assures accuracy in reading answers during the grading process.
Other writing tools, such as pens, are not authorized because they can cause the answers to bleed over, tarnish the answer sheets, and cause scanning errors.
Why are Answer Keys kept Private?
The TOEIC test forms are reused frequently and must always be safeguarded under certain conditions. If the items and answer keys were disclosed publicly, the test would lose its virtue.
How Long is TOEIC Valid for?
The TOEIC test scores are valid for two years. Scores gauge a candidate's English ability when a test is administered.
Your English skills may improve or decrease over time, so a TOEIC Certificate can not be reissued if the two-year limit has been reached; you will have to take a new test.
