TOEIC® Listening & Reading Test Schedule

The Test Schedule for TOEIC in Thailand is simple. Managed by the Center for Professional Assessment (CPA), public tests run once every two months. You can take it as an individual or through an institution. Results are valid for two years—plenty of time to use your TOEIC Score for job applications or studies here and abroad. TOEIC Part Listening

The TOEIC Listening section has four parts, testing your ability to understand English in real-life scenarios, such as staffroom chats or classroom discussions. It requires 45 minutes of focus, but with practice, it will feel natural.

Listening Comprehension

Here’s the structure: Part One has six pictures; Part Two includes 25 question-response scenarios; Part Three features 13 conversations with three questions each; and Part Four offers 30 short talks, also with three questions per talk. That’s 100 questions in the Listening Section. I’ve been through similar tests—stay calm, and you’ll do great.

 
 

TOEIC Reading Comprehension

The Reading Comprehension section gives you 75 minutes for 100 questions. You’ll face single passages (27 answers) and double passages (20 questions)—think emails or announcements a teacher might read. Most don’t finish, so pace yourself. The Reading Test Rewards Strategy.

 
 

TOEIC Part Reading

The TOEIC Part reading mixes Grammar and comprehension. Expect incomplete sentences, text completion, and passages. It’s a well-rounded test of your English Skills, perfect for proving you can handle lesson plans and parent emails.

Chulalongkorn University offers courses covering grammar, reading, listening, and free Vocabulary flashcards. TOEIC Part One Structure

In TOEIC Part One, you’ll see six photos with four audio descriptions. Choose the one that matches—no text, just your Listening skills. It’s a gentle start to the TOEIC Exam.

TOEIC Test Centers

Thailand has two leading Test Centers: Bangkok and Chiang Mai. Outside Thailand? Some international organizations offer testing, too. To register, call Bangkok at 02-266-3691 or Chiang Mai at (054) 243-7733. I’ve visited both—friendly staff and strict but fair rules.

 
 

Typical Vocabulary for TOEIC Part One: Photos of People

Part One often features photos of people—think teachers or students. Vocabulary words like “teach,” “write,” or “discuss” are common. Mastering these can earn you big points—about 50% of this section’s marks.

How the TOEIC Score is Calculated

There’s no pass or fail—just a TOEIC Score from 10 to 990, based on correct answers. The Listening and Reading Test is split into two Scaled Scores (495 each), then combined. You’ll get a Score Report with your rank, showcasing your English Proficiency.

TOEIC Photos of Objects

About 25% of Part One questions involve objects—desks, books, or buses. Learn words like “projector” or “shelf” for a High Score. It’s practical vocabulary for Thai classrooms.

 
 

TOEIC Test Structure Part 2

TOEIC Part 2 includes 25 questions—each a single sentence with three response options. A teacher might ask, “When’s the meeting?” You pick the best reply. It’s quick and tests your question-response skills.
